soundFX

SoundFX is a 12 track real time mixer designed for live performance. I wrote a 4 minute piece in Logic Pro 7, and then bounced it down in to several component parts (drums, bass, leads, ambient). Each bounce was a 16 second loop which could then be loaded into a separate track on the mixer.

Each track can start, stop, adjust the panning and apply various audio effects (delays, reverbs and comb filters for example) to each track individually. An internal clock starts every track in time, no matter when you press the start button.

Each track is also selectable and controllable via the master controls at the top of the patch.

Available as either an App or Max Collective, tested on my OS X 10.4.6 system and on a uni 10.3.8 G5.
